This is the absolute top wine of the Tenuta Il Poggione domain. The grapes for this Brunello come from the very best vineyards of Tenuta Il Poggione from vines that are 40 years old. Il Poggione only makes the Brunello Riserva in the great vintages.

Ruby red in color and full of aroma with hints of cherry, plum, wood and leather. Full and complex on the palate with a rich presence of dark fruit, dark chocolate and spices. Tannins keep this in balance.
